Monitor the airway.

Observe spinal injury precautions, if appropriate. (see Protocol #321.)

Administer oxygen.

Control external bleeding.

Request additional assistance.

Transport in accordance with first response agency policy.

Monitor vital signs.

Elevate the legs.

Treat all injuries as appropriate.

Maintain body temperature.
